THE MINI JUNGLE GYM. The basking hammock is the most sacred place in the cage. Warm, cozy and very Important to the cage dweller. In this enclosure, however, I worried about iguanas dropping from the sides of the hammock and injuring themselves on landing, so I tried things like adding hanging ropes and adding shelves to the lower level. And then this idea came to me: Put two corner shelves on top, instead of the one rectangular shelf. The advantage to this arrangement is that the center opening lets the iguana drop directly onto the cascading shelves below.
