THE BIG JUNGLE GYM The ceiling consists of two melamine panels with chrome light mounts. A support bar fits across the top of the cage to provide strength for the panels. On the newest ceilings, I put the support bar on top - outside of the cage. Check out the old climbing bars... too narrow for some big lizards! They were hard to install, too. Hanging shelves are much better. The light mounts have un-coated wire cloth (mesh) as a barrier to keep the lizard away from the hot lights. I suggest using regular 75w incandescent bulbs in the dome lights, although it's best to monitor your cage temps and adjust for the room climate.
